About Bob
Since 1994 Bob has worked at every level of hockey under the NHL. For 11 years, from 1994–2004, Bob was the provincial scout for the Sault Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League.
From 2005 through 2010 Bob was the first Director of Central Scouting for the United States Hockey League and established the USHL Showcases, which are now the USHL Combines.
From 2020 through 2024 Bob was the Commissioner of the United States Premier Hockey League.
What Bob is best known for, though, is The Prospects Hockey Tournaments, which ran from 1995 through 2010 and is widely accepted as the greatest spring hockey tournament ever, with over 1,000 participants advancing to the NHL—including eight first overall selections: Joe Thornton, Rick DiPietro, Rick Nash, Sidney Crosby, Eric Johnson, Patrick Kane, Steven Stamkos, and John Tavares—as well as over 4,000 NCAA Division I players and over 4,000 CHL players.
Bob tracks data, uses his experience and knowledge, to make predictions as to the direction in the elite hockey world and its players that will eventually make up the base of the National Hockey League.
